Watch CMS CNC stone machining technology step in to take the role of the world’s fastest sculptor. Precision 5 axis CNC machining equipment enables fast reproduction of the most detailed stone sculptures with perfectly identical reproduction every time.

This kind of stone CNC machining is commonly used in the creation of stone garden statues, benches, bannisters, large stone columns… in fact just about anything that was once created by a sculptor with a chisel and a hunk of stone is now more quickly and reproducibly created by CAD software and a 5 axis CNC stone machining center.

This CNC stone machining project was carried out at a customer’s facility in Denver Colorado on a block of Colorado White Marble. The stone torso was machined on a CMS BREMBANA MAXIMA 5 Axis CNC machining center. Following that a second stone sculpture was machined as a live demonstration at a stone exhibition.
