The plasma table is fully operational now! I’m super excited to have an operational table in my shop! It still has quite a bit of tuning left to do but I feel like all the big stuff is out of the way. For the build I used the precision plasma magnum II gantry kit, candcnc core cnc electronics package, hypertherm powermax65, off the shelf switches and local steel.

*SUBSCRIBE* I made some progress today on the diy plasma table and also had some setbacks. I’ll let you watch the episode to find out the details. I’m still moving forward despite the challenges. I get the v-rail ready to mount on the precision plasma gantry as well as assemble the pieces that will carry the hypertherm plasma cutter across the table. More drilling, tapping, problem solving, how to, and welding throughout this video. I also added journeyman tips to this video to show you guys some tricks of the trade.

*SUBSCRIBE* Today we got some more knocked out on the diy CNC Plasma Table Build using parts from precision plasma and fourhills designs. I got the gear reduction units adjusted and put loctite on the drive gears. After that I got the gear rack mounted up in place, mounted the motors and installed the z axis. All in all a good day with lots to show for it.
