The mechanical parts I will be using for this build will be from Cloudray Laser (www.cloudraylaser.com). When building your own machine you have the opportunity to design it the size you want with the material you want to give it a unique and personal look. I have chosen to use Aluminium T-Slot Extrusion for the frame of my machine and I will briefly discuss the design and plan for the machine I plan to build in a future video.

Normally, the fiber galvo laser main used for marking and engraving on metals, however, when it adopts higher power source,it can cut thin metals as well.

The galvo laser can choose 50W, 60W, 70W, 100W, 120W and 150W for cutting thin metals, such as sliver, gold, aluminum, copper brass and titanium. The cutting thickness will increase with the power supply increased.

For nonferrous metals, we suggest to use Germany IPG brand laser source, it can protect itself when it cut high-reflective metals.
