The Mekanika EVO CNC Router is a compact, yet a capable machine that’s aimed at the semi-professional market. I tested the machine for the last two months and will tell you if it’s worth the money you are paying or just an expensive toy! Let’s find out more!

Update #1 22-03-07: The “DI Spindel” upgrade is not only the spindle itself but also includes additional electronics within the electronics box, which makes the €300 price a bit more reasonable but also means that you will not be able to upgrade to the DI Spindle if you purchase the Standard Spindle at first.

So,
You have been hearing so much about the Laser engraving and cutting world and want to get into the action!

But you have no idea yet what makes a n engraver any good, and what doesn’t.

Engraver starts out to be quite difficult and confusing.
But once you pass the beginning learning curve stage , it actually becomes even easier than you would expect. that’s Awesome!

There are many important factors to think about when getting an engraving machine.
Mainly you need to look at:

If the Printer allows for manysoftware, if It has a good customer service base, Printer speed, power, focus, size , And if there are enough users online who can help you out if you get stuck during your Journey.

You’re getting excited, aren’t you?
What’s amazing about the 5 Options I have today, is that they have all of these features, and more.

To top it up, most of the engraving options provided are cheap, making it a great way to test if you are in to Lasers or not.

You won’t have to lose a few months salary just to find out.

You will get a lot of cnc router tips and tricks along the way. We will also cover the CNC control software, such as universal gcode sender and gsender. You will learn how to do a tool path and about profile toolpaths and cuts. and will know the difference between profile and pocket cuts.
