Episode 1: The Frame

This is the first episode of my CNC plasma build. I’m trying to do this as a turotial / how to without being to detailed or technical. The outlines of the project is a machine with a cutting area of 1000x500mm, a downdraft table that will double as a grinding table and a standalone CNC-controller. I will do all of the work in my homeshop with mostly regular tools.

Part 2 (of 3!) of the CNC router build. Hit a snag with the table that’s set me back a bit. CAD is coming once I get the table figured out and the model updated.

Enjoy!

*SUBSCRIBE* Today we got some more knocked out on the diy CNC Plasma Table Build using parts from precision plasma and fourhills designs. I got the gear reduction units adjusted and put loctite on the drive gears. After that I got the gear rack mounted up in place, mounted the motors and installed the z axis.
