I finally decided to build a CNC plasma table…I want to do this on a budget, so I will be using as much material that I have on-hand as possible, and hitting up the local scrap yards to see what I can use…My gantry design is coming along, but could use some improvements

The plasma table is fully operational now! I’m super excited to have an operational table in my shop! It still has quite a bit of tuning left to do but I feel like all the big stuff is out of the way. For the build I used the precision plasma magnum II gantry kit, candcnc core cnc electronics package, hypertherm powermax65, off the shelf switches and local steel.
