The Siemens SINUMERIK 808D Low-Cost CNC Kit for Milling is perfect for 3-Axis Knee Mills, Vertical Machining Centers, and Routers. The control system is suitable for any machine that has 3 interpolating axes. Servo sizes run from 4NM to 10NM, which will handle most small to mid-size machines. We can also provide Neugart gearboxes for applications that require servos up to 30NM.
Our Siemens 808D CNC Kits Come in 3 Package Configurations: Hardware Only (Siemens Hardware, Starter Prints, and PLC Code), Pre-built Enclosure with Operator Pendant, or Pre-built Standalone Console.
All of our package configurations include a CNC Display/Control (PPU), Machine Control Panel (MCP), and (3) Drives & Servo Motors with Cable Sets. Our Pre-Build Packages also include the following: Enclosures, Control Components, (2) Power Supplies, Control Transformer, Outputs and Safety Relays, Lockable Rotary Disconnect, Resettable Breakers for Circuit Protection, multi-cable thru gland, and MTP Control Drawings.
Servo motors are available in 4NM, 6NM, 8NM, and 10NM (@ 2000 rpm). Servo drives are included and will be sized according to motor size selected. There are three options available for spindle control. Spindles can be motor starter or VFD controlled. VFD Analog Command can be Bipolar (+/-10vdc) or Unipolar (0-10vdc) type.
Standard options include: MPG Pendant (Manual Pulse Generator), Spindle Load Meter, and Pendant Arm. Custom integration can also be done for tool changers, probing cycles, and rotary access (non-interpolated) applications.
