Here is my prototype portable CNC plasma cutter. It is controlled by an Arduino UNO with GRBL loaded on it. The machine is 2 feet by 2 feet and have a cutting area of 16 inches by 16 inches.

Estimated annual cost for water jet:
1kw cost $.28 per hour this is based on working 250 days, the machine can use 80Kw per hour in a work shift of 8 hours, this would mean 640kw per day, this are 160,000 Kw per year and the cost of this is 45,000 USD per year already explained.
Estimated annual cost for fiber:
1Kw cost $.28 per hour this is based on working 250 day the machine can use 19.2Kw per
hour in work shift of 8 hours, this would mean 153.6 kw per day, this are 38,400 kw per year
and the cost of this is $ 10,750 USD per year already explained.
If we seeing this estimates we are saving whit the fiber machine in consumption more than
$ 25,000, and in labor cost we saved more than $150,000.
In a conclusion, with a fiber cutting machine we can save more than $180,000 in annual
consumption and this generate a higher production, seeing and analyzing the saving that it
generates in a production and consumption, the machine can add the value $180,000 as
benefit of high efficiency!
