The new LT8.20 is a laser tube cutting machine for those who do not believe in compromises: fiber laser source, tube diameters up to 240 mm and 40 kg/m, 3D tilt cutting, very broad range of configurations available, excellent performance and ease of use.

The fiber laser source enables processing of any metal (carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminium, copper, brass, etc.) with performance and quality that have been until now unattainable.

TubeCutter, the new 3D cutting head, developed exclusively by BLM GROUP, is both compact and light, and offers unique cutting performance and quality, particularly when tilt cutting thick wall steel for weld preparations or for making angle bracing or joints in tubular structures.

LC5 – combined sheet and tube laser machine by BLM GROUP – with a single laser source and a single cutting head is capable of switching from sheet to tube processing (and vice versa) immediately, automatically and without needing re-tooling.
In sheet & tube configuration, the LC5 can process round, square, rectangular, oval shaped tubes up to an inscribed diameter of 120 mm and a bar weight of up to 13.5 kg/m in addition to metal sheets. LC5 is ideal in all situations in which installing two separate systems is hardly justifiable due to reasons of dimensions, production volumes or more simply cost-effectiveness.

LS5 is a sheet laser cutting machine created to fulfill a specific need: to provide a modular, fully automated, high-performance system which can be expanded to implement tube cutting functions later in time.

LS5 in sheet only configuration is an advantageous investment because it satisfies an immediate requirement and allows you to access the tube cutting sector at a later date making it still more advantageous.

LS5 can be equipped with either a CO2 laser source with a power of up to 4.5 kW or a fiber laser source with power up to 5 kW. The fiber source is advantageous for cutting high-reflecting materials (brass, copper) and for more effective aluminium processing.

The cutting process is controlled by sensors which monitor all the main parameters on both the CO2 source and fiber versions. Focus is regulated by a servo mechanism fitted inside the cutting head.
