I finally decided to build a CNC plasma table…I want to do this on a budget, so I will be using as much material that I have on-hand as possible, and hitting up the local scrap yards to see what I can use…Today electronics enclosure box gets mounted, and the component layout begins!!

I’m ALMOST finished with the controller for the LXmini speakers I’m building. In this video I finish off the rear and bottom panels by using my CNC router for all the holes and cutouts.

This project is sponsored by Matterhackers. I always go to them first for all my filament needs and they’ve supplied the NylonX for this project.

TAKACHI has introduced a new turret punch machine with built-in CNC threading capability.
The machine can efficiently manufacture products requiring both hole punching and threading in just one step!

Turret punch is a press machine that uses circular die “turret” to perform continuous punching actions through the use of NC programming.

I was sent a Duet 2 Wifi by Ooznest to try out – luckily I had just finished another CNC machine and needed a controller so I decided to try it out. It’s an interesting device and has forced me to learn more about programming. Here are my thoughts.

00:33 – Forehead
00:50 – CNC Machine
01:29 – Enclosure
03:02 – The Positives
06:14 – The Negatives
07:36 – Conclusion

Note: I was using RRF V 2.03 during this video – the latest version is 3.2beta2 where many of the issues I mentioned have been resolved. I am currently building a new controller and will documented the changes.
