This is part two of the fixture plate.

A CNC Router is the ideal tool for thread milling and in this video I am showing you some details to better understand how it works.

I think it gets over-complicated in most tutorials I have seen, the reality is that your CAD/CAM System will do the work for you.

The Feeds and Speeds are very conservative because I have future plans for that carbide threadmill LOL.

If you enjoyed my work so far it would mean a lot to me if you hit that notification bell … otherwise I will disapear in the mids of 1MM videos.

Tormach PCNC 1100! Tormach PSG! Emco V13 Lathe! Solidworks! Sprutcam!

A customer had a worn-out aluminum bracket used to drive a crank arm off a motor. Using the Tormach PCNC 1100, the Tormach Personal Surface Grinder and Emco V13 lathe, we made a much stronger replacement bracket include a custom shoulder bolt to accommodate the fact that the bracket could not be expanded on the left hand side due to machine clearance!

A good example of balancing an improved design, pride of workmanship but also getting it done efficiently!
