Beatty Robotics sent in this job-shop RFQ for a set of six CNC machined lunar robotic wheels! Using the Tormach CNC mill and CNC lathe, we used Fusion 360 to machine the 6″ diameter, 3″ wide wheels from a single piece of aluminum!

How to (and how not to!) remove machining toolmarks from a CNC machined aluminum box. Conclusion: sanding works great on flush surfaces, but recessed panels proved harder!
