This quick tutorial walks through creating a Form Tool Thread Mill in SolidWorks then using that tool in HSMWorks (Or HSMxpress or Fusion360!) to create a thread milling CAM operation!
In this video, we’re using a 0.495″ OD Thread Mill from LakeShore Carbide to cut 3/4×10 threads in a piece of aluminum on the Tormach PCNC!
