Adding On/Off/eStop spindle control to the Vevor 3020T-DJ CNC Router/Engraver. This “hack” works with JP-3163B and JP-1482. The below machines might have different boards than referenced in this video, but this is the CNC I have… 4-Axis 3020T CNC – Parallel Port Version (This is the version I have) http://amzn.to/2s9lRL9 4-Axis 3020T CNC – USB version (NOTE: This USB version
We discuss and compare stainless steel 304 and stainless steel 316 materials for CNC machining. When to use stainless steel, when not to use stainless steel? We’ll show some surface finishes that we offer at Hubs and finally have a look at our CNC machined stainless steel watch case.
00:00 Intro
00:42 Stainless steel 304 and 316 applications and surface finishes. You’ll learn in what applications and why stainless steel is used. Antoine will also mention and show some of the surface finishes (like brushing and electropolishing) of stainless steel 304 and stainless steel 316.
08:00 In the second part of this video we will show some watch cage parts made from stainless steel. Antoine will discuss why stainless steel is such a good material for making watch cages.

Usually we’re #machining metal in these CNCs, but occasionally we machine parts made from other materials too!
Just the other day, Malcolm (one of our #CNCmachinists) made these replacement parts from #UHMW—a type of plastic.
These plastic idlers will spin on a metal shaft to guide material as it rolls down a high speed #conveyor at one of Roseburg Forest Products’ plants.
