This results in higher cutting speeds, improved edge quality, and lower power consumption, making fiber laser cutting machines ideal for high-volume production and fine-detail cutting. They are also well-suited for cutting reflective and highly absorbent materials like aluminum and stainless steel.

☞ Nd: YAG Laser Cutting Machines: Nd: YAG laser cutting machines use a crystal doped with neodymium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet as the laser source, producing a capable beam of cutting thicker materials and penetrating deeper than CO2 or fiber lasers. However, Nd: YAG lasers are slower and less efficient than other lasers, making them less commonly used for laser cutting applications.

Matsuura not only produces exceptional 5-axis machine tools with automation, the Lumex Avance-25 is a hybrid additive and subtractive machining marvel. If the laser sintering layer detects a bad print layer, the Lumex can detect it and machine that layer away in order to re-print and correct it!
