Today we get to check out some interesting kits from Bobscnc.com . These are CNC routers that have frames made from wood! This makes them comparatively very cheap. Do they work? Yup.

I had long heard (and myself repeated) that drilling on a CNC router was less than ideal. But just how bad is it to drill materials at 10k RPM? That’s what I wanted to find out for myself.

I’m using Short/Stub Length drill bits from McMaster (https://www.mcmaster.com/drills) but there’s nothing special about them. Shop around!

Whew, I was so worn out from this build it took me 3 months to edit the video. Join me as I run through how I was able to tackle such a rush of work on the CNC Plasma Cutter in my small welding shop with the help of a few good tools and Tommy at my right hand.
