How to judge the cutting quality of a fiber laser cutting machine?

The cutting quality of fiber laser can be used to visually judge the performance of fiber laser cutting equipment.

Here are four criteria for your reference.

Roughness

The depth of the grain determines the roughness of the cut surface. The lighter the grain, the smoother the cut section.
Deep grain means high friction. So it is necessary to minimize surface roughness and ensure the cutting quality.

Perpendicularity
When the thickness of the metal plate exceeds 10 mm, the more perpendicular the cutting edge, the higher the cut quality.

Burr
Since the burr removal needs extra workload. The amount of burr is the most intuitive factor in judging the cutting quality.

Deformation

If the cutting causes the part to be heated rapidly, it deforms. The faster the cutting speed, the narrower the slit, the greater the gas flow, and the smaller the amount of deformation.
