In recent years Fibre optic laser cutting machines have become the driving force behind the global production of sheet metal parts. WATCH NEXT VIDEO: https://youtu.be/-6JLYbaj520

The growing variety of products and smaller machines have forced manufacturers to move away from traditional methods of profiling with dies in favour of this modern fibre laser technology.

Modern laser cutters enable very high cutting performance while maintaining the ability to cut single parts and small or large batches without having to invest in expensive equipment.

Unlike the older generation of CO2 lasers, fibre lasers consume much less energy, and thanks to the shorter wavelength, the laser beam can be focused to a smaller diameter, which allows for faster cutting speeds.

The dream is to be able to CNC cut metal parts in your garage for the least money possible. Well, I think I’ve got a solution for y’all: The 1310 CNC. It’a all metal construciton thick linear motion rods and Lead Screws on all 3 axis makes this the most robust inexpensive CNC machine coming out of China for under $300, but it’s got an achilles heel: The spindle motor. So let’s replace that and cut some 1/2″ Aluminum.
