This video is one in a series about making router templates using a CNC from PVC Trim. In this video the Toolpath file is loaded onto a NextWave Piranha XL CNC router. The Toolpaths are run to create a Template made from PVC that will be used for routing and boring mortises and for mounting threaded metal tenons. The design was created in SketchUp then imported into Vcarve Desktop Pro.

My favorite material for making router templates is the same PVC Trim Boards that carpenters use to trim around windows, doors and at the corners of houses. The videos in this Playlist are about making templates to rout mortises and mount hardware. The templates are designed in SketchUp then imported into Vcarve then routed on a small Piranha FX CNC Router. A tutorial is also being posted on Instructables.com which can be found by visiting my Profile page there using this link

This video is part of a series of tutorials about incorporating “knock-down” functionality into woodworking projects using Mike’s patented Threaded Tenon Joinery.
