Ever wondered why your laser engravers performance has decreased? Have you cleaned it recently?

Today we cleaned out our Nozzle and lens housing and found something crazy…..

Tons of little particles and the external case of the nozzle was covered in soot. We cleaned these parts off and now have an extreme increase in power. The particle were scattering the beam and even blocking it from cutting/ etching properly. Paired with our new Amp meter we are golden.

We also recent did a nozzle focal test and found the proper focal length to be at 22mm. We have made jigs to easy get it 100% on point with our lens. If interested in one of these jigs let us know and we can get one out to you.
