Building a CNC plasma table from scratch with a friend from Blackloop CNC. I’m doing the easy part of steel work, fabrication and welding. He’s the specialist who builds CNC tables, routers and 3D printers too, on his spare time currently still as a hobby. This is the first episode in a series of upcoming episodes about this plasma table. I still need to add water pan with sheet holding ribs in it, install the electrical box somewhere, make some usable surface underneath the plasma table etc. And finally build an addition to my workshop only to separate the plasma table from the grinding dust in the workshop. I hope you enjoy and thanks for watching!

A video showing my trucutcnc.com 4×8 Series1 plasma table in action cutting some aluminum sheet. I cant decide for you which CNC Plasma table is best for you, all I can do is share my experience with trucutcnc. In this video I walk through the trucutcnc owners facebook group, the support you receive from trucut, and how to walk through setting up a simple job.

If your thinking about building a DIY CNC Plasma table, consider one of the tructcnc gantry kits.

Part 1 of a series on how to build a CNC plasma cutter table. All the parts are complete. Check out my playlist for the build below. In this video, I am building the frame of the CNC table. Some back story this is my 3rd build of a CNC plasma table. The first build you see in this video, while the second one I made was for a friend, featured in the THC video on my channel. This design is based on the design I designed for my friend. Hope this video helps.

Notes:
* These are the linear rails I bought, though because I don’t have space in my shop I have to keep my machine outside and these rails have rusted, just keep this in mind
** I know the linked Stepper Motor Driver is unavailable. I just wanted to link the exact one I used. The second link is a driver that looks similar, I just have not used it so can’t guarantee anything
