A sheet of 2-dimensional mechanical parts is nested and cut at high cut speeds with a PlasmaCAM CNC burning table. The plasma torch cutting process can hold tight tolerances on precision metal parts like these. Material is 4 x 8 steel sheet with indexing and thickness is 10 gauge. Here is my prototype portable CNC plasma cutter. It is controlled by an Arduino UNO with GRBL loaded on it. The machine is 2 feet by 2 feet and have a cutting area of 16 inches by 16 inches.
