In this video we tried to show how to engrave photo on plywood with a CO2 laser machine. If this video was helpful and you want more, don’t forget to follow us and like our videos.

?Photo engraving on plywood

✔️You need to prepare a photo, for this we use the PhotoGraV program.
✔️You can also make similar results in any other photo editor such as Adobe Photoshope.
✔️In the program parameters, select the engraving on wood and the displayed result.
✔️Set the contrast parameters so that the displayed result meets your needs.
✔️Then import the resulting photo into RDworks.
✔️Set the engraving parameters, they depend on the power of your machine.
✔️In this example we are using a RECI W2 90W tube.
✔️Speed:, power:
✔️Adjust the air setting within 0.5-1 atmospheres.
✔️Adjust the focal length.
✔️Start the machine and observe the progress of the work.
✔️Please note that the material must be burned through no more than 0.1-0.2 mm.
✔️If the material burns through harder, turn down the power and increase the speed.
✔️The photo is ready!

The wood used in this video is a prelaquered plywood made by the finnish company that goes by the name of koskisen. Koskisen plywood is the best. Very high quality, unfortunately also rather expensive.
