When Nova High School wanted to advance their machining and programming courses, they found the Levil LMV-F400 CNC milling machine with a FANUC 0i-F control. The Levil LMV-F400 milling machine lets students experience real-world industrial applications in a compact, non-intimidating package.
Working with a real milling machine students get accustomed to the sights, sounds and feeling of operating a machine tool – which you do not get from learning on a simulator alone. The hands-on training helps students make the connections between the software and programming work and the real world applications they will face in the workplace.
Working on a FANUC 0i, the most commonly produced control in the world and the one students are likely to see in the real world is a huge advantage.

So here’s basically the bottom line:
Based on my generally positive experience with the FE20 so far, I’m inclined to say I would recommend it to a friend who wants a cheap and simple laser engraver with a large working area and enough power to cut through soft and thin materials. But then, this is my first ever CNC laser and I didn’t pay for it – it was sent to me by Fokoos. So I don’t feel that I am in a good place to steer you in either direction. Instead, my goal is simply share my experience so far, and to give you enough information to make your own educated decision.
